Setup HealthLink connection in DCM
- Only files/documents with Communication Type Discharge Summary, Referral or Specialist Letter can be sent via Healthlink
- Many providers use the Report to Referrer.docx template. Rename this to Specialist Letter and the Appointment Type: Specialist Letter will auto populate
- Files/documents need to include the Referrer details (DCM Bookmarks)
- On right-clicking on the file/communication, there is the menu option Send Document via HealthLink
- For providers to receive files/documents from HealthLink, they must have an Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) for each Location/Provider Number. If one is not entered in DCM, there is the prompt to enter one.
- On selecting OK, the referrer form opens at the relevant location
- Select HealthLink Search on the sidebar and results will appear for you to select the correct provider
- Select allows you to update all detail
- Select HealthLink EDI just returns the EDI
- On sending the file/document successfully, the Send Method will be HealthLink and the Communication Status will be Sent
- Files/Communications sent via HealthLink can be viewed in Regular Tasks - HL7 Management - Out
