Standard Procedures
A Standard Procedure consists of a description and associated Billing items. ICDs and the DRG can also mapped if they are unlikely to change. The Standard Procedure can be associated to the Entity and the Referrer/Surgeon.
- Selecting a Standard Procedure on the Appointment/Booking form will populate the Appointment Comment field with the name of the Procedure and associated Item Codes
- On generating the Informed Financial Consent or Invoice, these Item Codes are populated
- For hospitals, on associating this invoice with an admission, the data/coding flows through to the Hospital Casemix Protocol (HCP) and Private Hospital Data Bureau (PHDB) reporting and In Hospital Claim (IHC)
