File Explorer, previously known as Windows Explorer, is a file manager application and default desktop environment that is included with releases of the Microsoft Windows operating system. It provides a graphical user interface for accessing the file systems, which allows you to access, delete, create, move and copy files on your device. To open File Explorer, press Windows logo key + E or click on the folder icon. You can access files locally stored, in the network or inside a cloud service like OneDrive.
To save/pin an app to the taskbar: From the Start menu or apps list, press and hold (or right-click) an app, then select More>Pin to Taskbar
