To enable Clinical go to Utilities - User Roles - Master Settings (only the Master user can do this for each user). Select Access All Clinical - Save and Close.
To access the Clinical Module, it needs to be selected in Utilities - Configure - Advanced (Support).
SNOMED is included.

Care Plans and Communications
- Set these up in Utilities - Word Templates

Medications with MIMS
- Ensure you have subscribed to MIMS Integrated
- Go to Utilities - Configure - Clinical and enter the MIMS Licencing details
- Go to Utilities - Update MIMS DB. This is being automated in a future release
Each Doctor has to be setup in User Roles as an Entity and then log on to DC and on opening the Clinical Module accepts the MIMS User Licence Agreement. This only needs to be done once to comply with MIMS Requirements

- Within the Clinical Module - Medications by adding a new item in the field above Dose, Form, Frequency, Food and Region, or
- Within the Clinical Module select Medication Lookups on the sidebar, or
- Utilities - Lookups - Clinical - Medications
Setup Custom Medications
- Should you search for a Medication that does not exist, you have the option of adding this as a Custom Medication by selecting Custom Medications on the sidebar
Setup Favourites
- This is done within the Clinical Module on selecting a medication and selecting Save Favourite on the sidebar. If wanting to create Favourites on setup, suggest you use the Happy Patient record
- Select Medications - Add
- Search for the Medication
- With Medication highlighted enter/select Instructions
- Select Save Favourite
Setup Favourite Sets
- Select Favourites to list Favourite Medications
- Hold down the CTRL key as you select multiple Medications
- Select Save Favourite Set

Progress Notes
- In Utilities - Autotext and Templates create new templates ensuring you allocate the Category Notes. These can also be accessed and managed from the Progress Notes form
- Select Default for the template you want to open by default
Reminders/Recalls
- In Utilities - Lookups - Clinical - Reminder Types to add the list of Reminder Types
- In Utilities - Autotext and Templates create new templates allocating the Category Reminders and allocating a Reminder Type
Requests/Results
Requests
- In Contact Management - Suppliers add the Provers/Laboratories you send Requests to. You can also add Laboratories by selecting the [...] button on the Request forms. There is a default 'generic one' to select for pre-printed stationery
- In Utilities - Lookups - Clinical - Requests, add and manage
- Clinical Detail
- Imaging Region
- Pathology Tests
- The above can be prepopulated on request and also managed from the Request forms by clicking on the Manage Tests and Manage Details buttons
Results
- Results are downloaded from the Labs via HL7 In
- Communication Type is Result
- Communication Status is To be actioned
- Results can also be scanned in with Communication Type and Communication Status is allocated
- Results can be managed in the Client Record or in Regular Tasks - Communications
- Right-click on a Result to view menu options
