Regular Tasks - Import is used to import data directly into DCM using the Drag and Drop method. Files can be in csv or tab delimited format. Flag if it includes Column Headings.

This import could be for a one-off import or used for importing a theatre list from another app on a regular basis. If importing on a regular basis, the mapping can be saved to be selected on next import.

• Select Regular Tasks - Import

• Drag and drop the file

• Right-click on a row to map the data

• Select the relevant data field

• Continue mapping

Primary Key

• A Primary Key has to be set prior to importing. This will stop duplication of records on a future import
• Right-click on the column you wish to set as the Primary Key

• Should a Primary Key not be selected, the following will appear

Save Mapping

• When complete, and wanting to save the mapping, enter a Description

• Select Save

Import Data

• Select Import Data to import

Import Data previously Mapped

• Drag and Drop the file

• Enter the Mapping Name to load

• Select Load

• Flag if the file has Column Headings
• Select the Primary Key again
