- Providers must be subscribed to MIMS Integrated
- Providers must register with eRx to obtain the eRx certificate and their Entity ID at Homepage - eRx Script Exchange
- The Organisation must have a NASH Certificate
About Certificates What is a Certificate – Direct CONTROL Medical (DCM)
- The Providers' HPI-I and AHPRA Numbers need to be entered. Go to Utilities - Entities and select the Provider and then select the Search HI and AHPRA Lookup buttons on the sidebar to populate the fields
- Select the Prescribing section and enter the necessary detail
- Providers can nominate others to generate prescriptions under their direction
- Select Register and MIMS Terms and Conditions appear for you to Accept
- Next is the MIMS End User Licence Agreement for you to Accept
- An email will be sent to the Provider upon successful MIMS subscription

- Apply for PBS Authority - Health professionals - Services Australia. You will be provided with an Number to be entered in each Location (Active) - Prescribing
- NB: The label on this Number varies per state
- NSW and NT - Authorisation Number
- TAS and WA - Authority Number
- ACT and QLD - Approval Number
- VIC - Warrant Number
- SA - Permit Number
- It is also here that you enter the eRx Entity ID that will vary per location
